At the core of Wong’s filmic practice lies questions of identity, gender and the queer politics of representation.

In “The Blue Elephant”, Wong appropriates two iconic Lynch films, taking “The Elephant Man” protagonist - Joseph Merrick, a severely deformed man in late 19th century London, and merges with the disturbingly violent scene in “Blue Velvet”.

He continues his trope of ‘miscasting’ himself irrespective of language, gender or ethnicity by playing all three roles in this graphically violent moment.

Born in 1976 in Fresno, California, New York based artist—Shana Moulton fuses performance art with social commentary.

She offers a critique of contemporary culture, femininity and capitalism.

“Again and again and again” continues her supersaturated satire with a look into the land of data-addicted monk-like figures and dance-crazed rabbits, all played by Maclean.
