Unlike every other religion, it was not founded by any specific person, nor is there a founding date.

Thus they are considered to be shruti upon which all other scriptures are derived from.

In order to trace the origins of Sanatana Dharma and hence Hindu Civilization, the evidence that is available must be examined from multiple perspectives and must corroborate for any dating to be certain.
