Mine are made entirely from sustainably coppiced hazel and will be tailored to your comfort.
Either bring a chair or stool of your own, or we can supply a pre-ordered rustic frame to suit your needs.
You can pre-order a stool, dining chair, arm chair or rocking chair frame. All bent stick courses - you will need to bring a charged cordless drill, spare battery, and charger.

These chairs are traditionally held together with nails, nailing being an ancient craft in it's own right and are suitable for indoors, summerhouse, conservatory or a sheltered position in the garden.
I have designed the Wildwood Bent Stick Chair Jig to help in the making of these chairs, and these will be available to buy during the course.
This 3 day course gives you the time to put a little finesse into your creation with a refined frame of mortice and tenon construction, more elaborate stick work, oak rockers or just a bigger 2-seater.

There are 2 styles to choose from, traditional bow back and arch back.You will learn all the skills necessary to assemble the frame and bend all the stickwork into beautiful sweeping curves.
