Over the years I have been experimenting with different stopper and crown mechanisms and have recently settled on a titanium stopper made by Odysseas Fidanza of Greece.
I have been selling items from a retired music professional both player/performer/teacher and also a distributor who worked with EMI, Herb Couf and others. He gave me his collection of trade show head joints from Armstrong to sell.C: All 16 play tested by the former tester for Haynes, a world class expert in this field who liked them all but found eight to be the best of them.I will offer from the eight best at 5 plus shipping and paypal fees if any.
These are the ones selected by Armstrong for use at trade shows in the 1980's when they made a custom thin wall sterling headjoint with gold plated engraved lip. I took all 16 of these headjoints to my friend who was the former headjoint tester at Haynes for many years.
He is one of the few people paid to do this at a very high level. Of course not, but surprisingly good and far superior to the standard 80B HJ in every case The 8 best were simply found to be the best players by his standards.
